so it took a bit longer than i expected (three hours), but i’m finally on wordpress instead of movable type. plus, the stagger inn’s posts have been combined with the the new tofallfromgrace.com : the blog posts resulting in a somewhat bulky, but historically accurate, account of my life for the past few years…design elements will come next. hopefully within the next month, but don’t hold your breath. really…just don’t.
as you may have noticed, the stagger has been a bit down in the mouth lately…hitting the skids…seemingly taking that big jump off the gangplank….you get my drift….
BUT!
things are not what they seem…after a small revamp, the stagger will be back online (i am working to have it all done by october 31st)
don’t give up on the stagger, kids, as the stagger hasn’t given up on you!

so we have been going through a little revamping…decided it was time since about half my links were broken/dead/leading to mysterious portals. it was due for a bit of spring cleaning (on the second day of summer, figure that one out).

just to give you a bit of a heads up on what is going on at the stagger inn:
happy’s dog just moved back in with them after a long absence (they had a smaller apartment and he is a big dog. they have a larger apartment now and he is still a big dog).
trester (happy’s other half) has been doing an internship, going to school, working and may not even still be alive as i have not seen or heard from him in ages.
lupine’s internet/server connection has been on the fritz but that does not really matter as he never posts here anyway. [okay, it really really really does matter as he hosts all my music. the day lupine’s server went down was the day thestagger’s music died. sorry folks!]
jayzn has been working on his site and keeping me updated on dr who and other shared interests.
exuberant playboy has a new girlfriend, as usual. i hear she’s a body builder.
me? ah, life in has turned a bit sideways lately. taking a bit of time so as to clean up my oh-so-crazy act. clearing the head and cleansing the body and figuring out what works for me and working on getting rid of what does not work for me. example given: exercise works for me! donuts do not work for me. buying a car works for me! wrecking a car does not work for me! sweet friends work for me! crazy-ass people do not work for me!
you get the point.
in any case, last night was krisa’s family birthday dinner in denver. 8 billion people and 4 billion dogs. not even joking.
okay, joking a little bit.
so much food. so many people. such a good time. we drove back barely able to keep our eyes open, so so tired. i dropped her home and headed to bed with kaya. silly puppy acted as if i had been gone for days and days.
today headed to the dushanbe tea house for a late lunch then walked pearl street and went into ‘into the wind’, which i had not done since being back. still full of all the games you could ever possibly want. although my personal favorites were all the magnetic items. ..and by that i mean the erotic poetry fridge magnets. *grin*
also have a new stone incense holder that i bought at some tibetan store just because it was pretty.
i thought i was going to stay up to watch saturday night live, yet all i want to do is make some tea, crawl into bed and read.

uno: thanks to all who asked why i was going part-time…i am not. it was a post by trester, but thanks for the concern. *grin* please remember that we have five posters here. myself, trester, happy, jayzn and lupine. not everyone is around all the time (not naming names of course) and hcl aka my webmaster, hunter, pops in whenever he damn well feels like it.

dos: i have updated *gasp* the flickr photos over there to the right of the screen. please try not to fall over in shock as you may hit your head and it would just be a bloody big mess from there on out.
tres: i will be updating and changing the links list. i will have a special section for friends & family blogs/websites and then another section with sites i come across and visit regularly. i apologize for my slacking on keeping the list updated and weeding out dead sites. in any case, if you are a friend or family whose blog i do not have, please send it pronto to me here. i will contact everyone whose blog addresses i have prior to renovating the list in case you do not want your blog address made public.
